Lockdown 2020. What a unique experience. I remember early that first morning; walking into the field behind the house and hearing - nothing. No hum of traffic, diggers beeping, kids shouting. Just birds and the occasional cow on a hill far away and the roar of the ocean in the distance. It was an astounding and profound moment.

I heard someone say recently: "Lockdown; you can sit & watch Netflix from start to finish, or you can find a Project." We're a low screen family and had 5 boisterous kids at that time so Netflix was pretty much out of the question! And so a Project began.

I decided I would make one Documentary Photograph a day of our Lockdown Lives.

It was a great Project that was both challenging and rewarding and I look back on these images with joy, pride and awe.
